Artist Statement

As an artist I feel there is a tremendous satisfaction in creating a painting that has a

meaning with a colorful attraction to it.  My work is about everyday life experiences and

observations and being able to capture the mood and beauty of what I envision, with light,

color, depth and detail, enhancing the liveliness of a painting.

My favorite subjects are wildlife, seascapes, landscapes, floral, still life and portraits,

however, I also enjoy the diversion to abstract, which gives me great freedom of expression

and fun.
